Episode 22: Poet Stacey Brown talks MRKH

Warrior Wednesdays with Stacey Brown

Womanhood, the way God sees me - by The Warriors🙌🏾

“The world’s definition of a woman does not include me. Yet I am made PERFECT for my Father’s pleasure. And the God I serve created me so uniquely... that I am more than the world can handle.”

The comment section at Warriors spontaneously wrote those four lines for poet Stacey Brown @stacey_n_thehouse as she blessed us with her truth on LIVE. After being diagnosed with #mrkh Stacey has found her journey through healing in the art of poetry. As she shared her brilliant words from the page, we all let out unanimous cry when she uttered, “I’m grieving expectation.” She is a fierce woman who bravely makes no apologies for her pain. She’s IN IT... authentically. As she said, “I’m grateful and grieving.” THIS is the reality of infertility and the process of acceptance. It’s hard. And it’s ok to not be ok. Thank God we are not alone... that we walk together even when we don’t know the next step to take. There is POWER in our stories and they deserve to be heard. Stacey’s story and her words will be featured at United For Resolve on April 22nd at 8PM PST. Join us both there by signing up at @resolveorg. It will be all you need and more!! Thank you Stacey for sharing you light this Warrior Wednesdays. You have shifted our consciousness and given us permission to be REAL. You are, simply put... DIVINE. 🙌🏾🙏🏽❤️💐💐💐💐 #infertilityawarenessweek#mrkh #infertile #infertilityjourney#infertilitysupport#womensupportingwomen#blackwomenhealing #blackwomen#womenshealth #sisterhood#inthistogether #warriorwoman #pcos#endometriosis #ivf #ivfjourney#ivfwarrior #blackmaternalhealthweek #loveyourself
